| Q. What is the SWEETFILTERŽ Envirosock?
A. Envirosocks are a new product designed to remove odors, oil, and grease from storm drain flows. THE FIRST "do-it-yourself " that provides ease of use, excellent performance, and superior odor removal, with a refillable, reuseable sock. Q. How do I use it? A. Just remove the sock from the pouch, fill to length with OXpellets and then place and secure it to the storm drain problem area. Q. How long do they last? A. Typical operational life is 6-12 months per application. Sealed halflife of OXpellets is 20 years. Q. How many do I need for a storm drain opening? A. Typical application for smaller drain areas and moderate odor is 2-4 socks per drain area. Larger problem areas may use up to one kit per drain area. Q. What are the safety concerns? A. Typical applications should be secured with provided nylon safety ties which must be cut with heavy scissors for removal. No chemical smells will be evident in well ventilated areas. | Q. How do I fill a SWEETFILTERŽ Envirosock? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| A. Hold the top loop cord and remove the velcro strap at the neck of the refillable Envirosocks. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| B. Hold the top loop cord and open the the neck of the sock to form a fill opening. Fill the Envirosock to 3/4 full. DO NOT let go of the loop cord while filling the sock. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| C. When 1/2 to 3/4 full, raise the outer fill opening above all cord knots and at least halfway halfway up the cord loop. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| D. Squeeze the top sock material around cord and secure tightly with the reuseable velcro strap. Unit is now ready to install. Tie the exposed loop securely to the problem area. Alternatively, you may unfold and fill the entire Envirosock. Then use the velcro strap to close the open sock end. This gives you a greater length of 36" for larger problem areas. |
