Electric bubbler to keep small bodies of water aerated in summer and open in winter. This units have kept a .25 acre pond at 2.0 mg/l oxygen concentration in summer and an *8 foot diameter hole open in four inches of pond ice. 110 volt, 60 HZ, 12 Watt, standard plug. All weather metal enclosure with mounting brackets suitable for placement on a pole mounted 2x6 board (board/pole not included). 10 ft non-weighted air tubing. Replaceable double diaphragm, 11 SCFH, oil-less air compressors. Air Diffuser blocks suitable for 11 SCFH @ 1 psi. Unit is suitable for operation in ponds up to 8 feet deep when used with our diffuser float or draft tube.. Typical application is one unit per 100 sq. foot of water below the US snowbelt and 2 units per 100 sq. foot above the snowbelt.  Minimum water depth is 3 feet for deicing. The size of the hole created in the ice is dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, air temperature, depth and number of diffusers, and amount of airflow. Where do I install the diffusers or draft tube? It is important to locate the diffusers in an area where water depth is not at its deepest (<4'). Due to the fact that in the winter water is warmer closer to the bottom, this is where the fish will generally seek refuge from the extreme cold. If this water is brought to the surface and circulated, it is possible to “super-cool” the water and cause stress to your fish, possibly resulting in a fish kill. By placing your diffusers or draft tubes in shallower water you can preserve this deeper, warmer, safe haven for your fish while still opening a hole for gas exchange. DO NOT use a bottom mounted diffuser for any reason in the winter. Our bubbler systems will operate in the coldest or hottest climates! * Deicing  is a function of air/water temperature, below 0 degrees some icing will occur with any aerator.
